Oceanic Steppe is aptly named, for the flat rolls on into the horizon in every direction, and the grasses ripple like shallow ocean waves - for those with a clear mind. Somewhere within there lies a large placid lake where most tend to gather, for it is the only fresh water for miles. The Steppe, however, is deceptive, and ever shifting. Where one might see a land of plenty, another might see a wasteland of glass and stone. The Steppe shifts to mirror an individual's subconscious. Despite the vast openness, one should be wary of what hides in plain sight. The Steppe is a general gathering place. Mares cannot be claimed here, but nothing is ever 'safe.'

Territories here are at the highest altitude in all of Elysium. The views here are fantastic, but getting to some of the lands here is not easy. One has to be in peek physical shape to live comfortably in these steep territories, but the payoff is worth it. These lands, despite their harsh weather, will always reward bountifully with resources.

This is an area that virtually flat over the entire land mass, with only a few territories being above sea level. Summer can be humid, but the winters are tolerable. It is spring that residents need to be wary of, as tropical storms and hurricanes are a common occurrence.
