Name: Booth
Age: seven years
Breed: knabstrupper x friesian
Gender: stallion
Height: 16.1 hh
Appearance: Booth is a fairly magnificent creature. He carries the handsome profile of a friesian horse and a thick, curly mane and tail. He has a wide blaze on his face, starting between his eyes and ending on his chin. On it he has three spots dead in the center of his muzzle. He has no white markings on his legs, but he does have a large and striking spotted blanket upon his back. His spotting is heavy with thick mapping for each spot. He has a fairly athletic build, having the long body and neck of a friesian but the bearing of a warmblood. He has a fair amount of feathering on his legs, and striped hooves. The skin on his lips and belly is mottled, and he has white hairs around his eyes. EE/Lplp
Personality: Booth is a quiet creature. He is an intelligent, sensitive being and almost appears to not be of this world. He moves gracefully, his neck arched and his ample mane and tail flowing, as if he's been trained all his life to act an idol. And he has, and it's obvious at times from his movements that he's been trained to act this way. Despite living in a bachelor herd for five years he's kept his wits and manners about him. He likes to relax and play when possible. Overall he's a kind and gentle stallion, but easily upset; play aggression and harsh words seem to harm him brutally. He's quite a delicate flower but he can take care of himself if he has to. He appreciates beauty and strength in any form.
History: Booth had a fairly average upbringing with little incident. His mother was a beautiful friesian mare, the prized possession of his knabstrupper sire. The attractive pair were adored by the herd, and all eyes were on Booth as he aged. He appreciated the attention, but at the same time it unnerved him. He has been a timid creature from a young age, and the constant attention of older mares sent him scurrying to hide behind his dam. His sire was irritated at his fearful nature and trained him hard to be fit and to be able to fight. His confidence grew as he aged, but he remains wary of large groups. He was chased from the herd as a two year old and found a bachelor herd to run with. He continued sparring with his fellow bachelors, but never seemed to be able to snag a mare and keep her. He's tried several times over the past five years to break out on his own, but at some point he became the oldest bachelor in the group and decided to strike out. Perhaps on his own he'd be able to find a place for himself instead of having to fight for it.
