Name: Duchess Rose
Age: 4 years
Breed: Haflinger
Gender: Mare
Height: 13 hh
Appearance (Must be at least four sentences): Like a typical haflinger, Duchess is a flaxen chestnut. She looks palomino, but she is actually flaxen chestnut. She is quite small for her breed, while not smaller than the standard; she is the smallest the breed should be. Her general build is delicate, but she has a scar on her left shoulder.
Personality (Must be at least four sentences): Duchess Rose may look meek and delicate but the reality is quite the opposite. Duchess is easily annoyed, and argumentative to everyone but large draft stallions. She knows that they could crush her without even trying, so she does try not to anger them. These stallions also happen to have the greatest amount of trust, should you get to know her, for she is not a trustful mare. She trusts these stallions more because she knows that they are stronger, and less likely to lose a fight. Now, though she may be a sass mouth this is a cover for her inner insecurity. Should she find the one, she will be content to hide behind him her entire life.
History (Optional, though if you do write one it must be at least four complete sentences): Duchess Rose’s father drove her out at three years old for being sass mouth. He couldn’t have a child who so obviously didn’t respect him, could he? The first stallion she met didn’t even stop to pay his regards, well he did, but he just didn’t pay enough regards before claiming her. He had a fairly large herd, which was good for her because the very night they arrived, she slipped away, never to return. Later, a draft stallion met her, and she insulted him once too often. He became angry and hurt her. The scar on her left shoulder is from him. He left her then, pride recovered, and she learned a valuable lesson.
Other: The history and personality may seem a bit conflicting but her personality changed when the draft hurt her. She also was only three then, so it isn't unrealistic.
