This had to be the most breathtaking forest in the world. The trees, the foliage, everything was thriving. Bright and vibrant. Rocky formations scattered throughout, tiny gems sparkling in the midday sun. It was like walking into a dream. Was he dreaming? The further into the land the rusty tinted spotted stallion wandered the more awestruck he become. The foliage and trees thinned out slightly, thick bright green grass covered the forest floor. The rock formations grew larger as well as their gems, turning into a small mountain hidden amongst the trees. Those trees eventually thinned out and a beautiful meadow with a lake showed itself. The lake was crystal clear, the rocks and gems were what lined the bottom of the lake as well and the colors danced off the water. At the back of the lake there was a large, beautiful waterfall. Yes, this had to be a dream. He was sure of it.
He bowed his neck up and took off in a dead run across the meadow towards the waterfall. He had thought his eyes had been fooling him but upon closer inspection he learned that he was indeed seeing what he thought he saw. The rocky formations formed stepping stones heading up to the waterfall. Of course Blaize had to follow the path and know what it lead to. Up the small mountain he climbed, closer and closer to the waterfall. Finally when he reached the roaring, falling water he seen what the path lead to. There was a large cave entrance behind the water. He had to stop and admire the beauty of the entrance for a moment. His ears pricked in amazement, he could feel droplets of the water, chilled by the cold winter air surrounding them splashing his face every few seconds. He knew he wasn’t dreaming now, these lands were just as real as he was. The entrance was more gem then rock, a mixture of blues, reds, greens, purples, pinks, just about any color you could think of… He finally broke his gaze away and ventured into the cave.
It was a large open cave, warmer than outside. Somehow heat seemed to entrap itself behind the waterfall. Tiny gems scattered the wall, just enough to see everything clearly but not too bright. The ground was moistened just enough from the waterfall to be soft and comfortable without being in the least bit muddy. Was there anything wrong with these lands? He finally ventured back outside. He looked around. These lands were perfect. These lands were a kingdom. These lands were his. He snorted, swishing his tail he sidestepped and reared up, striking the air violently. He let out the loudest, deepest sound he had ever emitted from his body before in his life. He made sure his call rang out across the lands. These lands were his now.
